Z Aprons

AADCO Z™ Aprons are manufactured in large quantities and limited colors to reduce cost. Using the same high-quality material (X-Ban®) as our RayShield® and ComfortLite™ Radiation Protection Aprons. All Z™ medical aprons include AADCO’s lifetime warranty.

AADCO Z™ Aprons are the perfect low-cost option for radiation protection aprons while still offering the same protection as our RayShield­­® and ComfortLite™ Aprons.
Z™Aprons are available in all RayShield® Apron Styles and sizes. Due to large manufacturing quantities, no customization is available for these medical lead aprons.
Advanced X-Ban® material, when used in 0.5mm lead equivalence, has effective radiation attenuation that provides 98% attenuation of scattered radiation at 80 kVp and 94.1% attenuation at 100 kVp. These are independent results, certified by the National Physics Laboratory to the BS EN 6133-1:2002 International Standard.
